Welcome to Conversation Starters ("we," "our," or "us"). This privacy policy explains our data practices for our iOS mobile application ("App") available through the Apple App Store.

This policy describes how the App works, what we don't collect, and your rights. Conversation Starters is designed as a completely offline conversation-card app with zero data collection.

• No Contacts or Photos: We never access your contacts, photo library, or other device data
• No Cookies or Tracking: No cookies, beacons, or tracking technologies are used
• No Third-Party Analytics: We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any analytics services

3. How the App Works

Conversation Starters is a completely self-contained conversation-card app:

• Local Storage Only: All prompts are bundled with the App and stored locally on your device
• No Internet Required: The App works 100% offline after installation
• No Backend Server: We don't operate any servers that collect or process your data
• No Data Transmission: Nothing you do in the App is sent anywhere
• Content Included: All prompts across seven decks (Icebreakers, Casual Hangout, Deep Connection, Date Night, Hot Seat, Family Table, and Workplace) are pre-loaded in the app

Your session history and any interactions with the App remain entirely on your device.

4. In-App Purchases and Payments

Conversation Starters offers premium deck unlocks through Apple's In-App Purchase system:

• Payment Processing: All transactions are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store
• Apple's Privacy Policy: Apple's privacy policy governs payment information collection and processing
• Purchase Records: We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information
• Local Unlock State: Purchase status is stored locally on your device using standard iOS mechanisms
• No Personal Data: We never see your name, email, payment method, or transaction history

5. Third-Party Services

Conversation Starters uses no third-party services, SDKs, or integrations that could collect your data. The only external interaction is with Apple's App Store for downloads and purchases, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

We do not use:

• Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Social media integrations
• Cloud storage or backup services
• Crash reporting tools
• Any other third-party data collection services

6. Your Privacy Rights

Since we don't collect any personal data, there is no data for you to access, modify, or delete. However, we want to be clear about your control:

• Complete Control: All App data remains on your device under your control
• Data Deletion: Deleting the App from your device removes all associated data
• No Cloud Storage: We don't store anything in the cloud, so there's nothing to request or delete
• Purchase History: Your purchase history is managed by Apple through your Apple ID

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Conversation Starters is rated 12+ on the App Store. The app is designed for general audiences, with the Date Night deck intended for adult couples and the Deep Connection deck best suited for trusted relationships.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age. In fact, we don't collect personal information from anyone at all.

Parents and guardians can use the iOS Screen Time and Family Sharing settings to manage which decks are appropriate for younger users.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information. However:

Since Conversation Starters collects zero personal information, CCPA requirements do not apply.

We do not sell, share, or process personal information of California residents or any other users. There is no personal information to access, delete, or port.

9. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides specific rights. However:

Since Conversation Starters processes zero personal data, GDPR obligations do not apply.

We are not a data controller or processor because we don't collect, store, or process any personal data. Our privacy-by-design approach ensures full compliance with European privacy standards without needing to invoke GDPR mechanisms.
