1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Conversation Starters mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our App. The App is rated 12+ on the App Store; the Date Night deck is intended for adult couples.

2. Description of Service

Conversation Starters is a conversation-card application featuring swipeable prompt cards across seven decks. The app includes:

• Free Decks: Icebreakers (safe sparks for any group) and Casual Hangout (easy chat with friends)
• Premium Decks: Deep Connection, Date Night, Hot Seat, Family Table, and Workplace — each available individually or together as a complete bundle

All prompts are bundled with the app and stored locally on your device. We do not collect personal information from users.

3. Free and Premium Features

3.1 Free Decks

The free version of Conversation Starters includes two complete decks: Icebreakers (safe sparks for any group, perfect for meeting new people or warming up a quiet room) and Casual Hangout (easy chat with friends; low-stakes prompts that turn small talk into real talk).

3.2 Premium Decks

Premium decks are available through one-time in-app purchases:

• Individual Decks: $2.99 each (Deep Connection, Date Night, Hot Seat, Family Table, or Workplace)
• Complete Bundle: $8.99 (all five premium decks)
• Limited-Time Offer: 50% off bundle ($4.99 instead of $8.99) for the first hour after first launch

Deck Descriptions:

• Deep Connection: Vulnerable, meaningful questions for couples, close friends, and trust-based groups
• Date Night: Romantic prompts designed to help couples feel seen, surprised, and closer
• Hot Seat: Spicy debates and hot takes — defend your opinions, friendly conflict only
• Family Table: Holiday-ready prompts for multi-generational tables and family memories
• Workplace: Off-sites and team-building — personal-but-professional questions that build trust

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Purchases are one-time only with no recurring charges.

3.3 No Account Required

Conversation Starters does not require user accounts or registration. All data is stored locally on your device, ensuring complete privacy.

4. User Content and Data

Conversation Starters operates entirely offline. Your purchase history and unlock status are stored locally on your device using standard iOS mechanisms. We do not have access to, collect, or store any of your personal data, session history, or content. Your device's standard backup mechanisms will preserve your purchase status.

5. Prohibited Conduct and Age Guidance

Age Guidance: Conversation Starters is rated 12+ on the App Store. The Date Night deck is intended for adult couples; if you're under 18, please skip that deck. The Deep Connection deck includes emotionally weighty prompts best suited for trusted relationships.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or reverse engineer the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App
• Attempt to circumvent or disable security features or payment mechanisms
• Share or distribute premium content outside the App
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the App

6. Purchases and Payments

6.1 Premium Deck Purchases

Premium decks are available through one-time purchases processed by Apple through the App Store. Pricing:

• Individual decks: $2.99 each (Deep Connection, Date Night, Hot Seat, Family Table, or Workplace)
• Complete bundle: $8.99 (all five premium decks)
• First-hour discount: Bundle available at $4.99 for 1 hour after first app launch

All payments are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Purchases are one-time only with no recurring charges or subscriptions.

6.2 Refunds

All sales are final. Refund requests for premium decks should be directed to Apple through the App Store, as we do not process payments directly. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy.

6.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already made. The 1-hour discount timer is a promotional offer and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, features, functionality, and underlying technology, is owned by us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices
• Use our trademarks or branding without permission

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Any errors or defects will be corrected
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating systems

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any interruption or cessation of the App
• Any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful components

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for premium features, if any.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

11. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, though since the App functions locally, termination primarily affects your right to use the App legally. Premium decks purchased will remain functional unless you delete the App.

12. Updates and Modifications

12.1 App Updates

We may periodically update the App to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. Updates may be required for continued use of the App.

12.2 Terms Updates

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or through the App. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Polish arbitration rules, except that you may pursue claims in small claims court if they qualify.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
